What’s expected as a copywriter at Adhere?

You will be responsible for supporting marketing strategies with content that delivers targeted and defined marketing and sales leads for our home services, healthcare, and industrial clients.


As a copywriter, you will work with the marketing team to assist with all areas of our client's marketing campaigns. The content you'll be managing on behalf of our clients includes website copy, blog articles, email marketing, social media posts, digital ad copy, print collateral, and more.


The right candidate for this job will have very strong writing and communication skills, as the core of this job is supporting all of the copywriting and content marketing efforts for the agency and its clients. This can include blog topic creation, writer management, content creation/editing/proofreading, media pitches, social media posts, digital ad creation, etc.


You will be working with several marketing tools and platforms on a daily basis, and for those you aren’t familiar with, we will train and teach you best practices. These platforms may include HubSpot, WordPress, SEMRush, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Google Search Console, MailChimp, Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Pinterest, Yext, and Google My Business.


The best candidates will be experienced copywriters, journalists, and/or content managers or marketers. You will often be pulled into group strategy sessions for branding, marketing, PR, and advertising campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Writing a variety of content, which may include:
    • LinkedIn, Facebook, and Google ad copy
    • Website and landing page copy
    • Content positioning statements
    • Brochures, Postcards and mailers
    • Infographics, Ebooks, Newsletters
    • Press Releases and Case studies
  • Proofreading all projects as needed by design
  • Creating website content outlines, managing writers, and copy editing
  • Managing blogging for clients, which includes generating topics, conducting research, creating outlines, writer management, copy editing, and scheduling blogs
  • Managing outlines, writers, and copy editing for longer-form content such as ebooks and pillar pages
  • Creating and scheduling social media posts
  • Conducting buyer persona interviews and documenting results
  • Assisting with Adhere marketing as needed
  • Staying up-to-date on marketing trends

Professional Growth

There are a number of areas for professional growth with Adhere. There is potential for the right candidate to build an in-house content team over time and owning more of the overall messaging strategy for marketing and advertising campaigns.
We require every employee to take two days off per quarter for professional development. Typically these days are spent in online courses within your specialization. We also send each employee to at least one industry-related conference once per year.
